I know, right? I thought it was hilarious.

That reminds me of half of Miami before they've had their coffee.

They can't tell the difference between cacti and ferns?

Probably, caffeine does miraculous things. The expression is pretty dead on.

I wouldn't know; I've never been to Miami. But I'd say it's pretty accurate when it comes to New York, too.

I met someone else from New York in this place, now I'm picturing you guys with starving artists who have that expression on their face.

You know, I don't think I caught her name. She's got red hair and lives in the time that Nixon is running for president.

It's a big network, so I'm not surprised. I need to back to New York sometime, it sounds like a riot there.

It's a great place to be. I've been in the DC area for awhile now. Can't deny that I miss the big city. Sometimes you might even say that I miss it a lot.

Why don't you go back there for a few days?

Too much of a hassle. You ever had a dark past that kinda follows you around wherever you go no matter how hard you try to outrun it?

Well. It's kinda like that.

Actually, I get what you're saying. I wouldn't say it's a really dark past but I've had some things happen in the past that make it difficult to go back somewhere and I could do without reminders of it.

Then again, who hasn't?

No one I'm friends with. Us metaphorical outlaws flock together.

Heh, be careful with the word outlaw. You could give someone the wrong impression.

Words are just words, Quinn. You can't give them too much power.
